SwisSQL-Data Migration Evaluation Version

The Evaluation version of 'SwisSQL-Data Migration Edition' supports the migration of limited set of database objects. The count of various database objects which can be migrated using the evaluation version are as follows :

• 10 Tables (its Default, Not Null, Unique and Primary Key (PK) constraints) and 5000 rows of data per Table
• 10 Indexes
• 10 Stored Procedures and Functions^**
• 10 Triggers^**

The evaluation version will not migrate the following objects :

• The Foreign Key (FK) constraints of Tables.
• Views

Registered Licensing Options

SwisSQL-Data Migration offers various types of licensing options for registered users which are explained below. These options are based on the number of source and target databases supported. For all the options there are no restrictions on the number of database objects which can be migrated.

• SwisSQL-Data Migration Enterprise Edition - Any database to Any database

  This option has no limitations on the number of source and target databases supported.

• SwisSQL-Data Migration Enterprise Edition - Any database to Oracle database

  This option supports only Oracle as the target database with no restrictions on the source database.

• SwisSQL-Data Migration Enterprise Edition - Any database to MS SQL Server database

  This option supports only MS SQL Server as the target database with no restrictions on the source database.

• SwisSQL-Data Migration Enterprise Edition - Any database to IBM DB2 database

  This option supports only IBM DB2 as the target database with no restrictions on the source database.

• SwisSQL-Data Migration Enterprise Edition - Any database to Sybase ASE database

  This option supports only Sybase ASE as the target database with no restrictions on the source database.

• SwisSQL-Data Migration Enterprise Edition - Any database to MySQL database

  This option supports only MySQL as the target database with no restrictions on the source database.

• SwisSQL-Data Migration Enterprise Edition - Any one database to Any one database

  This option supports only a single source and target database. The source and target database combination can be specified by the user.

** - The Stored Procedures, Triggers and Functions will be migrated only when the source and target database are from same vendor. Eg. Oracle to Oracle migration etc.,

Instructions to get the Registered License Key

Once you have purchased the product you can get a registered license key from us. Follow the instructions given below to get the registered license key:

• Start the product
  
• A file "DataMigrationRegInfo.swiss" will be generated under <InstallDir>\AdventNet\SwisSQL\DataMigration_<Version>\ folder.
  
• Please send the file to support@swissql.com. To avoid corruption of the DataMigrationRegInfo.swiss file, you can ZIP the file and send it from your official email id with your full contact information.
  
• We will generate a registered license KEY and send it to you.

Note: The DataMigrationRegInfo.swiss has information about your machine like Name, IpAddress, MacAddress etc.,
